Green with Envy Recipe by Tobin Shea | The Silk Road Cocktail Collection
Follow Redbird Bar Director Tobin Shea’s simple instructions below for the Green with Envy cocktail. Green with Envy is inspired by sharbat, the yoghurt drinks from India, Iran, and Pakistan. This sharbat is a close cousin of sherbert, the frozen treat which creates a refreshing and creamy cocktail.
Green With Envy
1 ½ oz Beefeater Gin
1 oz Cucumber Syrup*
¾ oz Pressed Lime
½ oz Egg White
½ oz Yoghurt**
Combine all ingredients into an ice-filled shaker. Shake until chilled, strain into an ice-filled Collins glass. Garnish with a cucumber wheel.
1 Cucumber, seeded and chopped
Equal parts sugar
In a blender, place all cucumber chunks. Blend until liquid, and fine strain. Add sugar, and stir until combined.
20 grams Yoghurt
40 grams Water
Combine all ingredients, stir until incorporated.
