Locally Grown X Redbird | Vibiana: Garden Party Benefiting LA’s BEST 2019
On March 21st, 2019 we hosted LA’s BEST Locally Grown Fundraiser in the Garden at Redbird | Vibiana. All proceeds benefitted LA’s BEST After School Enrichment Program. Guest chefs included Austin Cobb (The Strand House), Christian Page & Elia Aboumrad (Cassell’s), Josiah Citrin (Mélisse), Lincoln Carson (Bon Temps), and Nakul Mahendro (Badmaash).
LA’s BEST provides an after-school enrichment program to 25,000 elementary students ages five to twelve in 200 schools in the most economically distressed neighborhoods throughout LA. Our very own Chef Neal Fraser is a proud board member.
To offer additional post-event support, an auction was held with items including a dinner for 10 in a private home by Chef Neal. The auction closed on April 5, 2019.
