Outstanding in the Field | Los Angeles River | Food Bowl
In 2007, Los Angeles unveiled a plan to revitalize the L.A. River and restore the watershed as a place for Angelenos to gather and connect. On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, Chefs Neal Fraser, Zach Pollack and Austin Cobb created an Outstanding in the Field meal in celebration of the river’s revival, as part of the Los Angeles Times Food Bowl. A four-course, family-style, long-table dinner was preceded by a cocktail hour with a portion of all proceeds benefitting River L.A.
