Follow Redbird Bar Director Tobin Shea’s cocktail recipe instructions below to make the Lily of the Valley cocktail from The Plain Truth About the Best Seeds Cocktail Collection. The Lily of the Valley is a scotch-based Old Fashioned enhanced with aged cachaça, kümmel and absinthe.

Lily of the Valley
4 oz Highland Park Magnus
¾ oz Avuá Amburana Cachaça
½ oz Drambuie
½ oz Broadbent Verdelho Madeira
½ oz Helbing Kümmel
Absinthe

In a mixing glass, add all the ingredients except the absinthe. Add ice and stir until chilled. Strain into an absinthe-rinsed double Old Fashioned glass, and add ice. Garnish with a grapefruit twist.
