Based on the Egyptian hibiscus-based drink, Karakadé, this version includes Caribbean flavors for a complex tiki-style cocktail.
Purple Rose of Cairo
1.5 oz Chairman’s Reserve Spiced Rum
1 oz Lime
¾ oz Thousand-Flavor Syrup
½ oz Don’s Mix
½ oz Giffard Blue Curaçao
½ oz Rhum JM V.O.
6 Drops Pernod Absinthe
In a Collins glass, add all the ingredients and fill with crushed ice. Using a bar spoon, swizzle until all the ingredients are incorporated. Add a straw and garnish with a lime twist.
