In summer 2019, Bar Director Tobin Shea and Bartender Kyle Ek traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico to select a barrel of El Tesoro Tequila from La Alteña Distillery. Shea and Ek worked with master distiller Carlos Camarena, well-known for producing the most honest tequila.
The barrel of tequila the team selected is full-bodied with notes of agave, jalapeño, toasted bread, wood, coffee and cinnamon. El Tesoro tequila debuted at Redbird | Vibiana in Fall 2019 with other bottles evolving into the mix since.
