Guest Chef Aarón Sánchez’s Fundraising Feast | Tuesday, June 5
On Tuesday, June 5th, we hosted a fundraising feast for the Aarón Sánchez Scholarship Fund in the Garden at Redbird | Vibiana. Chef Aarón Sánchez created the initiative to empower aspiring chefs from the Latin community to help achieve their dreams and attend one of the best culinary schools in the United States: The International Culinary Center.
Participating chefs included Aarón Sánchez of Johnny Sánchez, Neal Fraser of Redbird, Nancy Silverton of chi SPACCA, Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza and Triple Beam Pizza, Bruce Kalman of Knead & Co. and Union, Ben Ford of Ford’s Filling Station, Jonathan Waxman of Adele’s, Barbuto, Brezza Cucina and Jams, Jose Luis Chavez of Mission Ceviche, Jon Shook + Vinny Dotolo of animal, Jon & Vinny’s, Petit Trois, Son of a Gun, Trois Familia and more.
